Over the past nineteen years, Amanda has designed, developed and facilitated best-in-class training programs for global organizations in both the business and non-profit sectors. Outlined below is a partial list of her most recent and notable work, which has been widely recognized by her clients and produced breakthrough results. Leadership Curriculum Design and DeliveryAmanda was initially contracted to develop and facilitate goal setting training for a global reinsurance company as part of its broader performance management strategy. The powerful impact of this program prompted additional leadership development work at the mid-management levels in the organization. Amanda was commissioned to design and develop a robust, structured training curriculum targeted for leadership skill development for a team of 60 managers and directors. After conducting an in-depth needs assessment, she designed ©The LeadershipEDGE training program to address the skill gaps identified and foster accelerated career growth. This training encompassed many of the leadership competencies critical for business success today including: organizational influence, interpersonal savvy, effective communication and presentations, strategic visioning and thinking, coaching and conflict management. In addition to the training, Amanda introduced peer coaching, as well as executive coaching to further strengthen skill development and retention. This integrated strategy fueled performance and reinforced the need for greater consistency and demonstration of key leadership behaviors across the organization. As a result, this program was tailored to meet the unique needs of the senior team, encouraging continuous leadership development at all levels and equipping them with the necessary skills to serve as role models and coach their teams to high performance. Over the past year, Amanda and her team have been traveling internationally to deliver this program across the organization's global offices and trained over 90 participants to lead with the same language. Professional Skills Development | Design and DeliveryAmanda was retained by one of the most prestigious healthcare facilities in the world to design a structured training curriculum in support of the continued skill development and career growth of its medical and administrative teams. This content rich, four class training series reinforces the organization's core values, focusing on leadership and communication in the workplace and the delivery of world class patient care. First introduced in 2008, this program has been fully embraced by the senior leadership team and is now a required training program for all 18,000 members of the staff. As the lead facilitators of this program, Amanda and her team have trained thousands of employees to date and continue to offer the training on a regular basis. The tremendous success of this program has led to an additional engagement for Amanda with one of the organization's primary affiliates. She just completed in-depth focus groups with high performing employees to identify the key behaviors critical to success in every role. Plans are underway to develop a comprehensive "playbook", which will outline behavioral standards and guidelines to ensure the most consistent and exceptional patient experience. This playbook, along with supportive training will be incorporated into the organization's ongoing training curriculum for incumbents and onboarding process for all new hires. In addition, Amanda has been working with a large department in the hospital on an organizational and team intervention which has had measurable positive results. Team Assessment and CoachingIn need of an external leadership resource to spearhead a team building initiative, the Chief HR Officer for a world renowned non-profit organization sought out Amanda's expertise. One particular division was struggling to realize its full potential and there was a need to create greater synergy among the group. Through an in-depth diagnostic comprised of individual meetings with each member of the team, Amanda was able to uncover the unique dynamics at play and the roadblocks to team unity and collaboration. Amanda designed and led an off-site working session with the team where she shared common themes that emerged from the feedback and facilitated action planning focused on overcoming barriers and developing commitments to promote the full integration and leverage of individual and team strengths. Following the team building session, Amanda continued to serve as an ongoing resource, providing individual coaching measures to further accelerate the growth of each individual and the team as whole. Leadership Training Design and Delivery | Coaching | Continuous, Open Enrollment TrainingOver the past 10 years, Amanda's extraordinary strength in coaching, training design and facilitation has been leveraged by one of the most prominent global financial services institutions. She has developed customized leadership training classes, facilitated train the trainer sessions for in-house staff and provided coaching to all levels of management, from mid manager level through senior executive. Today, she continues to serve as an ongoing and trusted resource as targeted needs arise and leads a series of ongoing, open enrollment influence communication and presentation skills courses as part of a more comprehensive leadership training curriculum.
